What's it about?
Set in several eras, including 1692,1899,1941 and the modern era.
A short collection of Annabelle and Roland’s adventures. We get glimpses throughout the last 300 years of their lives. Featuring werewolves, witches, vampires, the Invisible Man and Mister Hyde.
NIGHT CHILDREN: DARK BIRTH, BOOK ONE
What's it about?
Set in Colonial Massachusetts, circa 1692 at the same time as the famous witch trials.
When Annabelle and her brother Roland arrive in the New World, their life is shattered. The evil vampire lord, Dominic Pratchet, kills their parents and leaves them to die in the woods.
Defying her husband, Eliza Pratchet rescues them from hungry wolves. Unfortunately, it’s too late. They’ll be dead by morning. Eliza turns them into vampires and teaches them how to master their cravings and abilities.
Dominic isn’t too happy about this. He sees it as outright defiance. He sends forth various monsters to destroy Eliza and the children. They face off against dark witches, vampires and learn to master hunting, flying and mesmerizing mortals.
They face off against a crusty vampire hunter, werewolves, vampires, witches, sasquatches and rescue a witch friend from the Salem Witch Trials. After all their challenges, the vampire children confront Dominic and all his dark servants.
NIGHT CHILDREN: DARK CHANGES, BOOK TWO
What's it about?
Annabelle and Roland may be immortal night children, but
their lives sure don’t stay still.
Their choices? Become a blazing pile of ash thanks to a
crazy mob, or fly for their lives. So they say good bye to Colonial America to
see the world.
For Annabelle, that means fleeing through London’s
underground before an army of vampire hunters give her a free stake dinner.
For Roland that means sailing the Caribbean with a crew of
blood-thirsty pirates. And yes, they really are blood thirsty. All vampire
pirates are. But will Roland break his no-human blood fast and lose himself in
the process?
What happens next?
I won’t say a lot but there is a whole wide world for Annabelle and Roland to discover. Many creatures, both good and bad, will cross their path. I’d love to go in depth into all of Annabelle’s adventures, but for now that will remain a mystery.
